Ylang Ylang
Canaga odorata
The oil is steam distilled from the freshly picked Indonesian ylang ylang flowers. In Indonesia, the flowers are ceremoniously spread over the beds of newlyweds as a wish for good luck and fertility.
Ylang Ylang soothes and calms the spirit and body and crates a sense of well-being. It is helpful in relieving the effects of tension, anxiety, and stress. It is also effective as an aphrodisiac, relaxing the mind and body while heightening the senses. Ylang Ylang has a rich fragrance which makes an intriguing perfume. The scent lingers and can be used to provide fragrance to linens. It can be added to a facial massage to benefit from its moisturizing and balancing properties. I is suitable for both dry and oily skin types.
