Rose Absolute
Rosa damascena
Since ancient times, the rose has been prized for its romantic fragrance and for its ability to charm the heart and lift the spirit. It has been called “The Queen of Flowers”. When used in a bath or massage, the delicately sweet essence of rose instantly encourages tender feelings and contentment. These qualities also make this essential oil useful for PMS, menopausal problems and times when one feels overwhelmed with depression, irritability or sadness. When used in a cold compress, its anti-inflammatory action makes rose a delightful treatment for swollen or irritated skin.
