L-Lysine
L-Lysine is known as an essential building block for all protein. The Amino Acid L-Lysine is needed for proper growth and bone development in children. It aids Calcium absorption and maintains nitrogen balance in adults. Among the many functions of this amino acid is its ability to fight cold sores and herpes viruses; to aid in the production of antibodies, hormones, and enzymes and to help in collagen formation and in the repair of tissue.
