Every herb in this combination is designed to help rid the body of excess fluid and offer support in protecting the kidneys and bladder.
The Formula:
Corn Silk- Naturally stimulates a diuretic action in the body and has been helpful for cardiac weakness along with being helpful with conditions of cystitis, kidney problems, heart trouble, painful urination and bladder problems.
Parsley- Is very helpful for the kidneys, bladder and liver. It is a natural diuretic and a natural aid for kidney stones. It acts as a kidney tonic by filtering the blood. Parsley helps adrenal weakness, bed wetting, edema, gallstones, pituitary and prostate glands.
Buchu- Is especially helpful with chronic kidney inflammation. It is considered the best herb for urinary disorders; it is soothing for painful urination, infection, water retention, bladder irritations, nephritis, Urethritis and P.M.S. bloating.
Cranberry- Research shows that cranberry provides an undesirable growth medium for bacteria in the urinary tract. Specifically, it has been shown that cranberry constituents appear to inhibit the ability of bacteria to adhere to the cell wall of the urinary tract. Regular use of cranberry significantly reduces bacterial growth in the urinary tract. Since UTI (urinary tract infections) are quite common in many females as well as males, cranberry is excellent in the prevention of this health problem. It also helps with the bladder, cystitis and incontinence.
Juniper Berries- Have been used for many years as a natural diuretic. It is antiseptic and helps conditions such as cystitis and removal of acid and toxic waste. Juniper helps strengthen digestion and weak stomach. Use Master Zyme or Cool Zyme to help in this area also, it helps tone the pancreas.
Hydrangea- While being a natural diuretic, it can relieve backache caused by kidney stones, it helps lymphatic conditions, helps prevent gravel and also helps it to pass through the urethra. Hydrangea also helps infection and inflammation of the kidneys, gallstones, calcium deposits, gout and gonorrhea.
Dandelion- A very effective natural diuretic rich in Potassium and a good source of plant protein (safe protein). Dandelion root is also beneficial for liver problems; it helps detoxifies poisons from the liver (cleansing), which is important for proper liver function. Dandelion is high in the natural good salts the body must have for proper function.
Uva Ursi- Has a history dating back to China, Europe and the American Indians for treating incontinence, kidney stones and bladder infections while it helps strengthen the urinary system. It is an excellent antiseptic for kidney and bladder infections and helps balance the PH of urine that is high in acid. It is a tonic for the kidneys, liver and glands.
Queen of the Meadow- Is a soothing herb for the urinary mucous membranes; it is a diuretic herb with the ability to help dissolve stones and sediment, to help dissolve the systemic inorganic crystalline deposits in gout, rheumatism and arthritis.
Shave Grass- Is a protector of the urinary system. It is a soothing diuretic that is beneficial for aiding bladder irritation and help in increasing the flow of urine without increasing actual renal secretion. Shave grass also is used for cystitis, kidney stones and gravel in the bladder.
Golden Rod- Is primarily used to prevent and help with kidney problems. It is especially helpful for dark and cloudy urine and kidney and bladder stones. It has a mild diuretic effect when used with Shave Grass and Cubeb Berries.
Cubeb Berries- Have an antiseptic and astringent effect on the urinary tract. Cubeb Berries have a soothing effect on urinary disease and is especially helpful for inflammation of the mucous membrane of the urogenital tract. It is a mild diuretic.
