Cornsilk
Cornsilk has been used mainly for urogenital infections. Over the centuries, it has been used for kidney problems, for acute and chronically inflamed bladders and the prostate gland. Cornsilk helps with urine retention, catarrh of the bladder, gonorrhea and in controlling inflammation and pain. It is a mild diuretic and has been used for cystitis. It is also useful in treating inflammatory conditions of the urethra, bladder, and kidney.
