Chinese Blend
Gentleness should be its name, because of its' gentle action. These herbs have been combined for proper colon health. The idea with this formula is balance, digestion, assimilation, and elimination. This formula should be easily tolerated by everyone, depending on amount taken. None of New Sun's Chinese formulas are habit forming.
The Formula:
Xing Ren (Apricot Seeds) - May help with lubrication and increases circulation in the intestine.
Bai Shao (White Poeny) - May help to stop spasms and excess water loss and also abdominal pain.
Hu Ma Ren (Flax Seeds) -May lubricate and encourage bowel movement and is a good source of fiber.
Da Huang (Rhubarb) - A small amount is used as an effective laxative.
Zhi Shi (Aurantium) - May break up stagnation in intestine for elimination.
Hou Po (Magnolia) - May help normalize digestion.
Slippery Elm- The soother and healer in the body.
Gan Cao- Harmonizes the effect of other herbs.
The main herb X’ing Ren (Apricot Seeds) has additional health benefits as do the others in this formula. X’ing Ren has been shown to: help remove toxins in colon, liver, and gall bladder help with stomach discomfort and digestion soothe digestive system, dry stool and dry mouth. Hu Ma Ren (Flax Seeds) compliments the main herb in this formula by acting with lubricating the colon. It is a mild laxative, a good source of fiber and can provide help for all ages, especially the elderly recovering from an illness.
